After two rounds of preliminaries it’s now time for the first Korean team to enter this year’s Asian Champions League as FC Seoul make a return to the competition after missing out in both 2018 and 2019. Seoul are joined by Japan’s FC Tokyo and Kashima Antlers along with Chinese Super Cup winners Shanghai SIPG.
Last week we seen victories for Ceres-Negros and Bali United as both teams progressed to the next preliminary round and one more step closer to the jackpot of the Group Stages. They are joined this week by teams from Thailand, Australia, Hong Kong and Vietnam.
Next week sees the start of the 2020 Asian Champions League as the Preliminary rounds in both regions get underway.
